Theatre Name - Lantern Puppet Theatre
As the NGO "Lantern," it was registered as a puppet theatre on March 26, 2002. However, even before that, on November 18, 2001, we had a tour in Finland, in Tampere, with a wonderful fairy tale "The Clever Fox," and an article about this event published in the local newspaper can also be considered a fact in the history of our puppet theatre that recorded its birth. Originally, the theatre was intended only for a Russian children's audience, but later we began performing for Estonian children as well, and since then, we have ensured that each new production is available in both Russian and Estonian versions.
Our theatre can be described as private or family-oriented.

The theatre has transformed into a touring theatre, allowing us to perform in children's institutions located far from large cities and not visited by capital theatres.
All puppets and scenery for our productions are ordered and crafted by professional puppet makers and artists from St. Petersburg. Quality and fairy-tale essence are very important to our theatre's standards. But the most essential requirement for our productions is that they are organized for children, ensuring that children are actively engaged.
